Comic Book Review: Star Wars #14 - Marvel Comics (2015)

Written by Jason Aaron
Art by Mike Deodato

The Vader Down event is getting close to the end as Darth Vader finds out who has been spying on him.  Luke is still searching for the Jedi temple while Han Solo and Chewbacca are fighting off the dangerous Wookie known as Black Krrsantan.

This review is a bit out of order for those of you who read all of the reviews on this site.  It was missing from my box at the comic book shop.  So here it is now and I'm glad I got to read it.

Star Wars is easily one of my favorite monthly comic books going today.  As far as Marvel Comics go, Star Wars and Darth Vader are my favorite books.  Taking place between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, we are given stories with all of our favorite characters without having odd casting choices for movies about their younger selves.  Yes, that's a dig at the Han Solo movie.

Back to the comic.  Star Wars #14 is incredibly action packed.  Light sabres, blasters, Storm Troopers, droids, Wookies, roaylty and rogues.  Everybody and everything is involved.  If you are even a bit of a fan of Star Wars, the comic book is worth reading.
