Legends of Tomorrow Review: Season 1 Episode 4 "White Knights"

Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 4
“White Knights”

Synopsis:
When Vandal Savage retreats behind the Iron Curtain in the early 1980’s, a string of Nuclear scientist’s Begin to mysteriously disappear the team follows Vandal’s trail straight into the heart of the soviet union in attempt to find the next target.

Review:
The team breaks into the pentagon in order to find a redacted file to learn the location of Vandal Savage. Once retrieved, the team learns they will need to travel to the Soviet Union. Ray tries to bond with the Soviet Scientist Valentina Vostock, when he fails its up to Snart to save the day. By stealing Valentina’s key card they are lead to a lab where a nuclear experiment is going on, The team learns that Savage is trying to create an army of Soviet Firestorms. The episode ends with Stein, Rory, and Palmer being taken hostage by Savages men.

Final thoughts:
This episode was filled with a lot, for Kendra needing to learn to embrace her inner goddess to Rip being chased down by time masters. It felt very rushed and didn’t seem to have the same flow which we saw with the first 3 episodes.

We know that the team will need to be saved, but the question which needs to be answered is what type of effect will Stein experience due to him taking on all the energy from the Nuclear core?

This was by far a down episode, it seems that with a 13 episode story arc, the creators are forced to fill each episode with a lot of different storylines. The positive from the episode has to be the growth of Rory as heatwave

I give this episode One Thumbs Up. I am looking forward to the next few episodes to see how everything ties together. Let us know what your thoughts were and leave a comment below.
