Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 3 "Blood Ties"

Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 3
“Blood Ties”

Synopsis:
Rip Decides to weaken Vandal Savage by going after his Financial asset’s Rip and Sara infiltrate Savage’s Bank, but are discovered by his men. Meanwhile Snart and Rory talk Jax into taking the Waverider back to Central City so they can steal a Valuable emerald. Professor Stein guides Ray on a Dangerous mission.

Review:
The team still stuck in 1975 due to Kendra condition, unable to time travel and with no way to defeat Savage, Sara convinces Rip that the best course is to hurt savage in another way….Taking his wealth. Rip decides that the only way to do this is alone, however Sara forces her way in order to help. They find out the secret to Savages power, by having his devoted followers drink the blood of Hawkman.

Start and Rory go after the green emerald, once its taken Rory and Jax learns that Snart has other plan. He is going to give the emerald to his father in order to stop him from going to prison. Ultimately time corrects this intrusion, and Snarts father ends up in prison anyway.

Final Thoughts:
The show continues to be everything that its meant to be, fun and entertaining. The show also has some great fight sequences, mostly involving Sara. The Best line of the show was given to us by Rip when he refers to Batman and Superman when he mentions that he has seen Men of Steal die and Dark Knights Fall

It seems Sara is starting to feel the effects of the Lazarus Pit and the blood lust which is currently effecting Thea. Its weird, as in Arrow Malcom informed Oliver that what ever Constantine did when resurrecting Sara took care of the blood lust. Obliviously this will have an effect in future episodes.

And now to our favorite characters, Snart and Rory. Still not sure how they have become the best part of the show. As I have said previously its not a surprise they are. It looks like Snart does want change and trys to use the fact that they are in 1975 to fix some issues from his Childhood. I love that they are giving us more to Snart, its fun to learn more about this character. The more he grows, the better the show becomes.

With Savage killed at the hands of Rip, its time for the team to travel to future where Savage has been Resurrected. I am looking forward to this and everything the show brings. I give this episode Two Thumbs Up. Let us know your thoughts and leave a comment below.
