Synopsis:
The Legends travel to Nazi-occupied Paris, but find themselves surrounded by the Justice Society of America. The Legends discover a time aberration that threatens the JSA, but the JSA wants nothing to with them of their help. Nevertheless, the Legends force their way into the JSA’s Mission to intercept and seize a mysterious package. Nate is desperate to prove that he should be part of the team, but he has a secret that he shares with his grandfather Commander Steel that might make it difficult. Ray is so focused on impressing the JSA, he puts himself and Vixen in danger. Meanwhile, Stein has stepped in as the leader with Rip gone, but when decisions aren’t being made Sara seems to be the one calling the shots.
Final Thoughts:
With the second episode we finally get to see the Justice Society of America, maybe one of the less popular groups within the DC comic universe but nonetheless its another set of Hero’s being introduced to the world through the Arrowverse. The episode itself focused on the difference of the two groups, and the question of whether or not the Legends are Heros. This seems to be affecting Ray Palmer the most.
We also saw Stein trying to take over as the Captain of the Waverider with disastrous results due to the inability to make a decision under pressures. This story could have been dragged out through multiple episodes, I am just glad they come to a resolution so fast with the mantle of Captain being passed on to Sarah.
I really like that both Commander Steel and Dr. Hayward are related, the admiration from Hayward is more than just Fan boy and makes it seem real and sincere. This is just the beginning of the story, especially now that Hayward has taken the super Serum.
Finally, The Reverse-Flash continues to make his presence felt within the Legends of Tomorrow Universe, This time taking the life of Rex Tyler, questions must be asked whether or not this will be the last time we see Tyler. It seems weird to loose a character so early that was the tie between seasons.
